Forest Spirits

It needs stating that Conni St Pierre is a very under-rated artist. Forest Spirits, her latest release, blends dark, shadowy ambient soundscapes with haunting, mystical new age shadings and a dash of subtle dissonance and psychedelia thrown in for good measure. Her shakuhachi flute playing has a particular pleasingly spooky quality to it, like the sighing of ancient woodland spirits. Check her out (and this is an unpaid and unasked for endorsement...I just think you should give her a listen).
